About: Khairat and Tissione believe everybody can do something about climate change

Khairat Mohammed and Tissione Parmar volunteered with BPEC between December 2010 and February 2011 as part of the Global Xchange programme. Previously they were in Nigeria for three months on a community development programme. The Global Xchange programme is funded by the British Council and Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO).

One of the projects Khairat and Tissione took on was to make a short film about climate change. Global Xchange and Climate Connections came together to make a climate change YouTube video. They took photographs of members of the public making personal pledges for climate change, which were then put together by Dan Childs, BPEC's volunteer photographer.
